ProxIO Sends badge reads from Hughes Prox Card System to the Event Processor.
ProxIO can get accept inputs from two Prox Card Readers, it can optionally interface with a PLC either outputting to the PLC or using the PLC for In/Out verification.  The typical ProxIO Data screen is shown below.

There are several ProxIO configuration options set via the ProxIO.cfg file which determine exactly how ProxIO will operate.
