The active diagram below shows some of the components that are utilized in configuring
the Event Processing System for use with the Proximity Picture application set. The
premise here is that when someone presents their Prox Card to a Prox Reader the data will
be verified by a PLC (programmable logic controller). If the PLC recognizes the tag
as valid then the image of that badge's owner is to be displayed. This system could
include several other components, but for simplicity, only the core components are shown
