TcubedReel Playback Utility
 Back Home Up Next

ReelPlay Icon    The Reel Playback utility replays previously logged events to the Event Processor.
The purpose of this utility is to take logged events, both spool movements and product movements/changes, and send those transactions through the Event Processor at either the original transactions speed or accelerated to review past movements or to simulate operations.  Transactions would be sent to an Event Processor that is separate from the production system so as not to send erroneous/duplicate data.

The screen below shows a typical ReelPlay display.

In this application you can select a time frame during which records are to be selected for playback.  You can also specify that only specific Items and/or Locations are to be selected.  The playback speed allows for accelerated playback through the Event Processor, this prevents you from having to review transactions in real-time.  At the bottom of the screen the actual record selection criteria is displayed.  The following explains the buttons displayed.

bulletPlay - Starts sending transactions to the Event Processor (defined in .Cfg file).
bulletPause - Temporarily suspends transaction from being sent to the Event Processor.
bulletStop - Resets selection criteria and stops transactions from being sent to the Event Processor.
bulletAbout - Displays application description/version information.
bulletQuit - Exits application.
