VipIo Icon    VIPIO sends VIP wandering patient data/alarms to the Event Processor
The VIPIO application is used to interface with a VIP wandering patient system.  The VIP system has the ability to monitor up to 31 doors.  The current status of these doors can be inspected or changed by the VIPIO task.  Many capabilities of the VIPIO application are defined in the VIPIO.CFG file.  These options in the .CFG file determine how the VIPIO application will interface to the event processor and how tags and doors will operate.  A typical VIPIO screen is shown below.

If a wander tag is detected at the door the Tag Id is displayed to the right of the door, the presence of these tags can be sent to the Event Processor when they are seen or when an alarm occurs.

If VIPIO is configured to automatically lock and unlock doors at specified times, the Lock Status screen will display the current status of all defined doors.
